Genova Career Guidance

Genova Career Guidance is based out in Krishnarajapuram, right on the Amarnath Estaste 2 along Dehgam Road. It is an interesting spot because there is always something happening on the road outside. We focus on helping people figure out what to do with their careers. It’s not like those big fancy consulting firms you see in the movies. We just sit down with students or people looking for a change and talk it through. The office has a few tables, some chairs, and a lot of folders. We probably have too many folders, actually. The lighting is a bit dim in the back corner but we mostly work near the front where the sun comes in. Dehgam Road is always busy, so there is a constant hum of engines and horns. We’ve had a few people get lost trying to find the estate, so we usually tell them to look for the big landmark nearby. We aren’t experts in everything, but we know enough to point people in the right direction. It’s about giving practical advice without all the jargon that usually comes with this kind of thing. Most days it’s just us and the sound of the keyboard. We like it this way. It’s quiet enough to think but close enough to the city to feel connected. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for a while.
