Freelancer

I've been working as Freelancer for a while now from this small spot at 34 5 Yash Residency 15Th Cross Malleswaram Bangalore 560003. It is not a big office with glass walls or anything like that. Just a couple of desks and some old computers. Malleswaram is a busy area, especially around 15th cross, so it gets a bit loud with the traffic and people outside. I started this because I wanted to do my own thing without a boss breathing down my neck every five minutes. Most days, I am just here answering emails and trying to finish projects on time. Sometimes my friend comes over to help when there is too much work to handle alone. We drink a lot of coffee from the place around the corner. The building, Yash Residency, is okay, though the elevator gets stuck sometimes so I usually just take the stairs. It is a simple life. We don't have any big corporate goals or fancy speeches. We just take the work as it comes and try to do a decent job so people don't complain. Bangalore is getting more crowded every year, but this little corner feels like home. I’ve lived around here for years, so it made sense to set up the shop here. It's mostly just me sitting in front of a screen. If you are ever near the 15th cross, you know where we are. It’s just how things go for us. We're just trying to keep the work moving and the bills paid like everyone else in the city.
