Freelancer

I’m based at 3 D 7 in the Ushas Suryakantha Block of Nandi Gardens. It is out in Avalahalli, near the Anjanapura Post in JP Nagar 9th Phase. Bangalore 560062 is a bit of a trek from the city center, but it’s a lot quieter out here. As a freelancer at my company, Freelancer, I appreciate that peace. Nandi Gardens is a nice place with some greenery around, so it doesn’t feel like I’m stuck in a concrete jungle all day. My workspace is just a simple room in the block. I’ve got a window that looks out onto the garden area, which is nice when I want to rest my eyes. It is not a fancy corporate setup with branding on the walls. It’s just my desk, my computer, and a lot of notebooks. I don’t have a big team or any employees. It’s just me sitting here and getting through the work. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside and it gets a bit noisy, but I don’t mind. It feels like a normal home. I’ve lived in Bangalore for a long time and I’ve worked in many different places, but I like the vibe here. It’s honest and straightforward. I don’t have any fancy goals or mission statements. I just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized in my own little corner of the block. It is a good spot for me.
