Freelance

My business, Freelance, is located at 654, 17th C Cross in the 2nd Stage of Indiranagar. Anyone who knows Bangalore knows that Indiranagar is a pretty popular spot, but this particular cross is a bit quieter than the main roads like 100 Feet Road. I’ve been working from this address for a long time. It’s basically just a home office. I have a desk, a chair, and my laptop, and that’s about it. I don't see the point in having a big, expensive office space when I can do everything from here. The neighborhood has changed a lot since I first started. There are more cafes and shops now, but my routine stays mostly the same. I wake up, make some tea, and start working through my emails. I don't have a team helping me, so everything rests on my shoulders. It can be a lot of work sometimes, but I enjoy the freedom of being my own boss. I don't use any fancy business jargon to explain what I do. I just tell people I’m a freelancer and I take on whatever projects fit my skills. It’s a very local, straightforward way of doing things. I like being able to walk down the street and see people I know. It makes the work feel more connected to the real world. That is how I’ve always done things here, and it works.
