Free Lancer Consultant

My name is Javed Ahmed Baig and I run things here at 40 4Th Cross in the Ganesha Block area of RT Nagar. This is Bangalore, so traffic is always something I’m dealing with when I have to go out, but mostly I stay here and handle my consultant work. It is a quiet enough spot for the most part. I have been doing this free lancer consultant thing for a while now. It started small and just kept going. I don't have a big office or anything fancy like that. It’s just a desk, a laptop, and plenty of phone calls throughout the day. People find me when they need help with specific projects they can't handle themselves. I spend a lot of my time looking at spreadsheets or writing up reports for different clients. Sometimes the neighbor's dog barks too much, but you get used to it. RT Nagar has changed a lot over the years, more shops now and it’s busier than before. I usually grab tea from the stall around the corner when I need a break from the screen. My setup is pretty simple, really. It is just about getting the work done on time and making sure people are happy with what I send over. I don't really do the whole corporate talk thing. I just tell it like it is and try to be helpful where I can. That’s pretty much the whole story of how I work here in this neighborhood.
