We are over on Law College Road in the Ramaswamy Palya area. Our place is room 403. It’s a busy part of town so there’s always noise from the street coming in through the windows, mostly cars and bikes. We spend a lot of time looking at food standards and helping people understand the rules they need to follow for their own shops. It’s a lot of reading and checking lists. We have stacks of papers and some samples around the office that we look at. Most of our day is spent talking to people about their kitchens or their products over the phone. It’s practical work. We don't have a showroom or a lobby for people to wait in. People just come up to the fourth floor to talk to us directly. The elevator is sometimes a bit moody so we take the stairs when we're in a hurry. It’s a good workout anyway. We usually have lunch from one of the small places downstairs that sell local food. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us who know about the food industry. We try to keep up with the new regulations as they come out so we can tell others what they need to do. It isn't a glamorous job but it keeps us busy from morning till night. We’ve been in this building for a few years now and we like the location despite the traffic.
