Floor Decor

We started Floor Decor here in Basaveshwarnagar quite some time ago. Our shop sits on the 3rd Cross in Shakthiganapathinagar, which is pretty close to the BEML Layout area. Most days, it’s just us handling the heavy tile boxes and showing different flooring patterns to people who live nearby. It gets a bit dusty with all the construction happening in Bangalore, but we try to keep the place organized. Sometimes the traffic near the main road makes it hard for deliveries to reach on time, but we manage. We’ve got stacks of different materials leaning against the walls. It isn't a fancy showroom with bright lights and coffee machines. It’s more of a practical place where you can actually touch the stones and see the colors. Most of our neighbors know us by now. We spend a lot of time just talking to folks about their home renovations and what might work for their kitchens or sit-outs. It is a lot of physical work, moving stuff around and checking the inventory every week. The weather in Bangalore is usually nice, so we keep the front door open most of the day. You’ll find us here from morning until the evening, usually drinking tea and waiting for the next truck to arrive with new stock. We just focus on getting the right pieces to the people who need them without making a big fuss about it. It’s a simple business.
