We are based in Bangalore, specifically in the Vibhuthipura area near Vinayak Nagar. Our office is on the 3rd Main Road. It’s a bit of a trek from the main airport, but this is where a lot of the administrative side of things happens for the duty-free business. Tarun Agrawal is the main person here at this location. It’s a pretty standard office building, nothing that would catch your eye from the street. We deal with the supply side of things, which means keeping track of a lot of inventory and different products. Even though we aren't at the terminal itself, we are always thinking about what travellers might need. The area around 3rd Main is mostly residential, so it is relatively calm compared to the city center. We have a small team here and we just get on with the day. There is plenty of paperwork to go through, especially with international goods and customs rules. We usually start early and finish up once the day's tasks are sorted. Sometimes we have meetings to discuss what’s selling well or what we need to order next. It’s a straightforward job and we try to keep the atmosphere in the office friendly but productive. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not, just a group working in the Vinayak Nagar neighborhood. It’s a quiet spot to handle such a busy business.
