First Advantage Pvt Ltd is located in Vannarpet, specifically on the first floor of a building at 6th Cross, 3rd Main. It’s right opposite the Baby Mirror School, so we hear the kids playing and the bells ringing all day long. Being in this part of Bangalore is different from the big shiny office areas. It feels more like a neighborhood. Our office, Ka No 44, is a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the hallway is usually a bit dark until you flip the switch. Inside, it’s just a plain room with white walls and a few windows that look out onto the street. We’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that hum constantly, and the furniture is mostly stuff we’ve had for years. It’s a functional space. We don’t have any marketing brochures or big presentations about ourselves. We just do the work that comes in. Lunchtime is usually just us sitting around the main table sharing whatever we brought from home. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which gives us a few minutes to chat. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We are just a local office in Karnataka, making our way through the week like everyone else in the area. We know the local chai stall owner and the security guard downstairs pretty well by now.
