Our office is located at 275 Akkipet Main Road in Bangalore. If you have ever been to Akkipet, you know it is one of the most crowded and energetic parts of the city. There is always someone moving goods or shouting for space on the road. Our building is right in the thick of it. It’s an old structure, and the entrance is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. Once you get inside, it’s a bit quieter, but the noise from the street still filters in through the windows. We have a lot of stuff packed into this office. There are boxes of files stacked along the walls because we keep running out of shelf space. We don’t have any fancy decorations or art on the walls, just a few calendars and maybe a clock that’s five minutes fast. Everyone here has their own way of working, and the desks usually show it with coffee mugs and piles of paper everywhere. We’re in the 560053 zip code, and we spend a lot of our time just trying to navigate the daily bustle. We don’t have a big reception area or a waiting room. People just walk in, and one of us will help them out. It’s a very grounded way to work. We just focus on our daily responsibilities and try to get everything finished before the sun goes down. It's a bit dusty, but it feels real and hardworking.
