You’ll find Ernst Young Ltd India over at Apartment No 101, No 68 on 25th Cross in Bangalore. We’re in Jayanagar 6th Block, which is one of the nicer, greener parts of the city. The office is inside an apartment building, so it doesn't feel like a cold corporate environment at all. We have our desks set up in the main rooms, and there is usually a lot of paper moving around. Jayanagar is great because it still has that old Bangalore feel with big trees and quiet streets, though it’s getting busier every year. We mostly handle local logistics and paperwork for the company from this branch. There isn’t a fancy lobby or a bunch of screens on the walls; it’s just us and our laptops. We usually take our breaks at the small parks nearby or grab a coffee from the place around the corner. The building is easy to find, and the neighbors are pretty used to us being here by now. We try to keep the noise down and just get through our to-do lists. Sometimes the rain in the afternoon makes us all scurry to close the windows, but that’s just life here. It’s a comfortable place to work without all the pressure of a big city center. We don’t put on a show for anyone, we just focus on doing our jobs properly every day. It’s a plain, honest workspace for us.
