Engineering

We are set up at number 36 on the Hebbal Outer Ring Road. If you know the area, you know how the traffic can get around here, especially during the rush hours when everyone is trying to get home. Our place, Engineering, is basically a working hub for the technical stuff we handle. We’ve got a mix of people who have been here for years and a few newer faces who are still learning the ropes. The building isn't brand new, but it holds everything we need to do our jobs. We usually start the day fairly early before the road gets too blocked up. Most of what we do involves technical drawings and figuring out how things fit together. It's not the kind of work that sounds very interesting at a party, but it’s what we know. We have some old desks and chairs that have seen better days. There's a small kitchen area where we eat lunch, usually something someone brought from home in a tiffin. We don't really have a big marketing department or anything like that. People find us by word of mouth or because they saw the sign while stuck in traffic on the ring road. It’s a practical setup. We try to be helpful when people call with questions. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so the fans are always going. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot since we moved into 36. It’s getting busier every year, but we’re still here doing our thing and drinking too much coffee.
