Encore Software Ltd. has its office in the Leo Complex, specifically on the 6th floor. The building is located at 44 and 45 Residency Cross Road. This is right in the middle of the city, so it is always bustling. Being on the 6th floor gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding buildings, though it is mostly just rooftops and AC units. Residency Cross Road is a tight squeeze for cars, so most of us walk from the main road. The Leo Complex is an older building, it has that specific smell of old offices and paper. We have been here for quite some time now. Our workspace is filled with old files, computers, and a few plants that someone forgets to water occasionally. We work on software projects, mostly just the nuts and bolts of coding and maintenance. There is no open-plan layout or bean bags here; it is just traditional desks and chairs. During lunch, we usually head down to the small eateries nearby. The crowd on the street is a mix of office workers and shoppers. It is a busy place to work, but it feels like we are in the heart of things. We just keep our heads down and get the software built, one day at a time, without any grand plans or corporate speeches.
