You can find us at 319 on 100Feet Road, right at the 10th Main in Vivek Nagar. It’s a wide road with a lot of trees, which makes the walk to the office quite nice in the mornings. Our space is on the second floor. It’s mostly one big room where we keep all our samples and catalogs. We have a big metal cupboard full of hardware samples—knobs, hinges, and that sort of thing. Most of our day is spent talking to people about their homes or offices. We have a couple of large desks where we spread out drawings. The carpet is a bit worn in the spots where we walk the most. There’s a small kitchen area where we make tea and heat up our lunch. We’ve been working from this location for quite some time now. The building is older, so the elevator is a bit slow and sometimes it’s faster to just take the stairs. We get a lot of natural light in the afternoons, which helps when we are looking at color palettes. It’s a very practical setup without any bells or whistles. We focus on the work at hand and try to stay on top of the schedule. Sometimes the phone rings constantly, and other days it’s very quiet. We like the neighborhood because it’s easy for everyone to get to. It’s just a normal office where we do our best to get things sorted. We keep a box of old magazines in the corner for inspiration.
