Mysore Road is always a chaotic place with all the vehicles. Our shop is at 87/B in Bapujinagar, near the 7th Cross and 4th Main. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but we like it. The shop is mostly just a front room with a lot of shelves. I have been working with electronics since I was a teenager. Now I just run this place in Bangalore. It gets very loud with the traffic noise outside. I keep the door closed sometimes just to hear myself think. The floor is tiled but some are cracked from dropping heavy stuff. We don't bother with fancy displays. The products are just in their boxes on the shelves. People come in looking for specific wires or remotes. I usually know exactly where they are, even if the place looks like a mess to anyone else. It's a neighborhood shop, plain and simple. I have a small stool I sit on near the entrance. Bapujinagar has changed a lot, but this corner feels the same. I don't use a computer for my accounts, just a big ledger book. It feels more real that way. Sometimes my neighbor comes over to complain about the weather. We just keep going, day after day. It’s a decent way to spend the time and help people out. Most people stop by just to see if I have a spare battery or a small plug.
