Devatha Industries

Devatha Industries is tucked away at 24, 5th Main, 8th Cross in S.R. Nagar. Getting here can be a bit tricky if you aren't familiar with the way the crosses and mains work in this part of town. We’ve been at number 24 for years now. It’s a quiet enough street most days, though you get the usual sounds of the neighborhood—dogs barking, kids playing after school, and the occasional vegetable seller shouting their prices. Our building is a simple one, nothing that stands out from the rest of the houses and small shops on the 8th Cross. Inside, we have our machines and a few desks where we keep track of the day's work. It’s mostly family and old friends working here. We don’t have big corporate titles or anything like that. If something needs fixing, we fix it ourselves. The walls have some old calendars and photos pinned up from years ago. S.R. Nagar is a place where people know their neighbors, and we are no different. We often share a pot of tea in the afternoon when the sun hits the front door just right. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s ours. We stay busy with the routine of the 5th Main. Every day is pretty much the same, and we find some comfort in that. It’s just a small industry doing its thing in a corner of the city, and we take pride in showing up.
