Dell International Services

Our office is in the Late M Prabhakar Building, specifically Flat 201A. Being in Electronic City means there is always traffic and a lot of noise outside, but once you get inside the building, it settles down a bit. Dell International Services has a lot of spots in Bangalore, and this one in Konapana Agrahara is where a bunch of us land every morning. It’s an apartment-style setup which makes it feel a bit less like a factory. We have the usual stuff—desks, chairs that have seen better days, and a mountain of laptop chargers. The elevator in this building can be a bit slow so most of us just take the stairs to the second floor. Work usually involves a lot of coordination with other teams. We aren't doing anything glamorous; it’s mostly just making sure the software stays updated and the hardware doesn't fail. We have a small pantry but usually, we just go out to the local stalls for some quick food. It’s a practical place. We don't have fancy glass walls or bean bags. It is just a flat filled with people who know their way around a motherboard. Sometimes it gets a bit warm when all the machines are running, but the fans do their job. We are just here to work and get home before the evening traffic gets too crazy.
