Davy Elektro Controls Pvt Ltd is based over in Kamakshi Palya. Our address is a bit of a mouthful—No 65 2, Ward No 36, 3rd B Main Road, near Dhayari Phata. It’s an industrial sort of neighborhood, so there is always the sound of trucks or some kind of construction going on nearby. Our building is pretty plain. We have a large door for moving things in and out and a small office area where the paperwork happens. It’s usually a bit dusty because of all the activity on the road, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. The staff usually eats together in the small break area we set up in the back. We don't have fancy office furniture; most of it is stuff we’ve picked up over the years that still holds together. The lights flicker sometimes when the machines next door start up. It’s a place where people wear boots and work clothes more than suits. We don't spend much time on decorations. There’s a calendar on the wall from three years ago that no one bothered to take down. We know the other business owners on the street, and we mostly look out for each other. It’s a hardworking environment, nothing like those shiny offices in the tech parks. We just focus on keeping the orders moving and making sure the lights stay on for everyone here.
