Datamonitor

Our Datamonitor office in Bangalore is located in Ashwini Layout, which is just off 4th Main and 1st Cross. We are pretty close to Ejipura. If you know Bangalore, you know the traffic around here can be a real nightmare, so most of us try to get in early before the roads get blocked. The office is in a small building that blends in with the houses around it. It’s not a big tech park office. We have a few rooms filled with computers and wires. The floor is just plain tile and the walls are white. We do a lot of monitoring and data entry throughout the day. There is a small bakery nearby that makes great puffs, so that’s our usual afternoon snack. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of equipment, but we make it work. We’ve got a small balcony where we keep some old boxes and a few spare chairs. It’s a very casual place to work. No one wears a tie or anything like that. We just focus on the screens and get through the data. Sometimes the rain in Bangalore makes the roof leak a tiny bit, but we just move the desks. It’s an honest, simple operation. We like being in this part of town because it feels more like a neighborhood than a business district. We just keep doing our thing.
