Cyber Cafe

This Cyber Cafe is located at 39 3rd Cross in the 2nd Stage of Bapujinagar. If you are familiar with the Bangalore 560026 area, you know it can get pretty crowded. We’ve got a row of computers lined up against the walls and a few printers that we’re always having to feed more paper into. People come in for all sorts of reasons. Some need to print out government forms, others just want to check their email or play a game for an hour. It’s a loud place most of the time because of the fans in the computer towers and the street noise coming through the door. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to restart the router when the connection drops. The chairs aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job for a quick visit. We spend a lot of time helping people who aren't quite sure how to use the scanner or how to attach a file to an email. It’s a local spot where the same faces show up week after week. We keep the place open fairly late because that's when the students and workers usually need us the most. There’s no fancy lighting or air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans spinning away. It’s a straightforward business and we just try to keep the machines running and the ink stocked up for whoever walks in.
