Consumer Rights Education And Awareness Trust is located over in Vasanth Nagar, Bajwa Nagar No 239. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, which is good because we do a lot of reading and talking to people who have problems. We aren't a big government office or a law firm with fancy chairs. It’s just a regular space where we sit and try to help people understand what they can do when they get cheated or when a product doesn't work like it should. A lot of the time, people come in feeling pretty frustrated or upset, so we spend a lot of time listening to their stories. We have stacks of files everywhere and the phone rings more than I’d like, but it’s important work. We don't charge people a lot of money because that would defeat the whole point of what we are doing here. It’s just a few of us who care about how people are treated in the market. We spend our afternoons writing letters or looking up rules that might help someone get their money back. It isn't glamorous and there’s a lot of paperwork that never seems to end, but we like being here in Vasanth Nagar. We’ve been at this address for a while and don't plan on moving anytime soon. It’s just our little way of making things a bit fairer for everyone who stops by.
