Consultant

Our place is at 99 Ratnagarbha in Bangalore. It's tucked away in a spot that works well for what we do as consultants. We don’t really have a big front office or anything like that. It’s more of a functional setup where we sit down and go through whatever tasks are on the list for the day. Living and working in Karnataka, especially in this part of the city, means you get used to the pace of things. Sometimes the internet is great, other times we just have to wait a bit. We spend most of our hours here looking at data or talking to people about their business needs. There are no fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a few notes taped up to remind us of deadlines. We’ve been at this address for some time now. The building is called Ratnagarbha, which is a nice name. Inside, it’s mostly just us and our computers. We try to keep a regular schedule, coming in around nine and staying until the work is finished. There’s a small area where we keep the kettle for tea. It’s a simple way to work, but it keeps us focused on the actual jobs we have to do. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders because we're usually too busy with the actual consulting part of the day.
