If you’re looking for us, we’re located at No 160 on the second floor in GKW Layout. It’s right on 4th Cross in Vijayanagar. This part of Bangalore is always moving, especially with the market and the metro not too far away. To get to our office, you have to walk up two flights of stairs since there isn’t a lift in this building. It’s good exercise, though some of us complain about it on Monday mornings. The office itself is pretty simple. We have a few desks pushed against the walls and some old cupboards filled with paperwork. We’ve stayed in Vijayanagar because it feels like a real neighborhood where people actually know each other. You can hear the sounds of the street from the balcony, which is sometimes distracting but mostly just feels like part of the day. We don’t have a big team or any complicated hierarchy. It’s just a few of us who have been working together for years. We usually share tea in the afternoon from the stall at the corner of the cross. The light in the office is actually quite nice in the evenings when the sun starts to set. It’s not a polished corporate environment, just a functional space where we get our tasks finished. We like being part of this layout because everything we need is just a short walk away.
