City Cars

City Cars is tucked away in Mahalaxmi Puram, near St Thomas Town. It’s not a huge showroom with flashing lights. It’s more of a practical space where we deal with vehicles every day. Being in the Kacharkanahalli area, we get a lot of locals stopping by. The space can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of cars in, but we make it work. We've got grease on our hands most of the time. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see people in suits. We’re usually in our work clothes, just trying to get through the list of things that need fixing or moving. The street can be a bit narrow, so parking is always a puzzle we have to solve every morning. We don’t do much fancy talk here. If a car has a problem, we look at it. If it’s for sale, we tell you what’s wrong with it along with what’s right. It’s just how we do things. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the neighbors don't mind the noise too much. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk. That’s just part of running a small shop. It’s a decent living and we enjoy the people we meet. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
