Citigroup Global Services

Our place is at 26 Platform Road in Seshadripuram. Being in Bangalore, we deal with the usual traffic stuff, but this area has its own charm. Citigroup Global Services is based here in this building. It is quite close to the railway tracks, so you can hear the trains passing by quite often. At first, it was distracting, but now we don't even notice it anymore. The office isn't anything special to look at. We have the usual desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of wires running along the floor. We try to keep things organized, but it gets messy when we are busy. The weather in Bangalore helps, though. We don't need the air conditioning on all the time like they do in Mumbai. We usually walk out to the main road to get some tiffin or some filter coffee in the afternoon. It is a very lived-in area. The building itself is older, with those heavy doors and windows that sometimes stick. We just focus on getting the work done. There are no fancy lounges or meeting rooms here. We just sit together, talk about the tasks, and finish them. It’s a straightforward way of working. Most of us have been here for a good amount of time, so we know the routine by heart. It’s just our little corner in Seshadripuram where we get things done every day.
