Chikkalingaiah

This is where I work out of, over in Banashankari 3rd Stage. It’s on Shivarkar Road, number 5. It’s a decent area, mostly residential, so it stays fairly calm compared to the main roads in Bangalore. My setup is pretty basic. I’ve got a desk, a computer, and a lot of notebooks scattered around. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for a long time, so I know the shortcuts and the best places to grab a quick snack. People often get confused with the house numbers around here, so I usually have to tell them to look for the big tree near the gate. It’s a one-man show for the most part, though I have some help now and then. I don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, I’m usually the one who answers the door. The room gets a lot of sunlight in the morning, which is nice, but it can get stuffy by noon. I do a lot of my work on the phone or just typing away. It’s not the kind of place that looks like a corporate office. There are stacks of paper that I really should organize, and my coffee mug is usually sitting right in the middle of everything. It’s just how I work. I like being close to home and not having to deal with a long commute. It’s practical and it suits me just fine. No fancy bells or whistles here, just me getting the daily tasks done one by one.
