Chiguru Foundation Trust

We are tucked away in Vijaya Nagar at number 830/29. It’s a quiet enough spot, which is good for the kind of work we do at the trust. The office is really just a couple of rooms where we keep all the files and meet with people who need a bit of help. We don't have a big budget for fancy furniture, so most of what we have is second-hand or donated. It feels like a home, honestly. There’s usually someone around making tea or sorting through papers. We spend a lot of time talking to folks from the neighborhood. Some days are slow, just filing and phone calls, and other days the place is full of people. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who care about what happens in our community. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a standard block, but we’ve made the inside comfortable. We have some plants by the window that struggle a bit in the summer, but we try to keep them alive. It’s a lot of hard work keeping a foundation going, especially with the paperwork and trying to find funds for the next project. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just do the work and hope it makes a difference to someone. If you come by, you might have to wait a bit if we're on the phone, but there's always a chair and some water.
