Charitha Lingam

You can find us at the Tukaram Paduka Chowk in Vijaya Nagar. Our place is number 163. It’s a decent spot, right near where the roads meet, so there is always someone passing by. Charitha Lingam is a name we’ve used for a long time. It’s just a few of us here. We don't have a big team or fancy software to run things. We mostly rely on notebooks and a lot of memory. The mornings are usually spent cleaning up and setting things out for the day. It gets quite busy around the chowk in the evenings, with all the people coming home from work. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking near the entrance, which can be a bit of a headache for us and anyone coming to see us. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a couple of wooden chairs and a table that has been here since we opened. We don’t see any reason to change it if it still works. We handle the daily business as it comes. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, other days we are running around trying to finish everything. It’s a simple life. We like being in this part of town because everything we need is close by. We just try to do a decent job every day and keep things moving along. There's a little snack shop next door where we go for our afternoon tea break. That’s pretty much all there is to our story.
