Our office is at number 12, Venkateswra Nilaya, which is in Challaghetta near the Yemlur Post in Bangalore. It is a bit away from the main tech parks, which is actually kind of nice because it isn't as loud as the city center. We operate under the Capgemini India Consulting Pvt Ltd name here. The building is a typical Bangalore structure, and we have been using this space to manage our daily consulting tasks for a long time now. There are always a few bikes parked out front, and the lane is narrow enough that you have to be careful when driving in. Inside, the office is pretty simple. We have our desks, some old cupboards for files, and a small area where we keep the water cooler and some snacks. It is a place where we just sit down and get our heads into the code or the documents we are working on. We do not have a big marketing team or a fancy front desk. It is mostly just the sounds of typing and people talking on their headsets. Sometimes we hear the planes from the old airport nearby, which reminds us where we are. We like the local feel of Yemlur; it has got a bit more character than the shiny new glass buildings you see elsewhere. It is just a practical spot for us to get through the work week without too many distractions or corporate nonsense getting in our way.
