Our office is located at N S Bhavan, on the 4th Main of Gandhi Nagar. It’s right at the 4th Cross, number 18 4. Gandhi Nagar is a very old and crowded part of Bangalore, so there is always something going on outside our windows. You can hear the traffic, the hawkers, and the general bustle of the city all day long. The building, N S Bhavan, has a lot of history and it feels quite solid. We have a few rooms where we manage our affairs. It’s not a modern glass building; it has thick walls and old-style windows. We have some wooden desks and chairs that have been with us for years. There’s no fancy branding on the walls or slick presentations. We just have our ledgers and our computers. People who come to see us are usually regulars who have been coming for a long time. They know the way up and they know we’ll be here. We start early in the morning before the heat gets too bad, and we usually wrap up once the evening traffic starts to peak. We don’t use any complicated business jargon. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, because often they are. It’s a simple life here in the heart of the city. We keep things moving and try to stay on top of our daily chores.
