We are located at 168 A on Ms Ali Road in the Chhota Sonapur area of Kengeri. Borewell Sri Balaji Drilling Earth Movers is a long name for a pretty simple operation. We spend our days getting covered in mud and grease. Most of our equipment stays parked out front when we aren't out at a site. Kengeri has changed a lot since we started, but the need for water stays the same. Drilling into the ground is unpredictable work. Sometimes we hit rock almost immediately and other times it’s just soft soil for a long way down. We’ve learned to listen to the sound of the machines to know how things are going. It’s a noisy business. The neighbors are used to us by now. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you want to talk to us, you usually have to find us near the trucks. We handle a lot of earth moving too, which means the yard is always full of dirt and piles of gravel. It’s hard on the back and the hands, but it’s what we know how to do. We aren't much for fancy talk or business suits. We just show up, set up the rig, and start the engine. When the water finally comes up, that’s when we know the day’s work was worth it. We’ve been at this address for a good while.
