We are located up on the fourth floor, Flat 401, in the RV Apartment building. It sits right on the service road in the 2nd Stage of R P C Layout in Vijaynagar. It’s a Bangalore address through and through. We deal with the heavy electrical side of things, but from this office, it is mostly about the planning and the paperwork side. The service road can get pretty noisy with the bikes and cars zooming past, but once you’re inside the apartment, it’s a bit quieter. It’s not your typical corporate setup with a lobby and a receptionist. It is more like a workspace where we actually sit down and focus. We’ve got our computers set up and a small kitchen for when we need a break. Most of us live nearby or take the bus to get here. Vijaynagar is a good place to be, there’s always something happening outside. We don’t go in for big mission statements or trying to sound more important than we are. We just have a list of things to do for the BHEL projects and we try to get through them without too many mistakes. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet gets slow, and we just deal with it like anyone else. It is a simple, practical way to work, and it keeps us close to the ground. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
