Bazm E Ghalib

Up at Gangenahalli 134, you’ll find us at Bazm E Ghalib. It’s a quiet enough area most days, which suits us just fine. We’ve been operating out of this space for a while now. The building is older, with those heavy doors that always seem to creak no matter how much oil you put on the hinges. We spend a lot of time just talking and keeping the place in order. It’s not one of those modern offices with glass walls; it’s more about the history of the place and the people who come through. Gangenahalli has changed quite a bit since we first got here, with more shops opening up and the roads getting paved properly, but our little corner feels pretty much the same. We have a lot of books and papers scattered around because that’s just how we work. It’s a bit messy if you look too closely, but we know where everything is. On rainy days, the sound on the roof is so loud we have to raise our voices just to hear each other. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising or anything like that. People mostly hear about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We just open up in the morning, do what needs to be done, and lock up when the sun goes down. It’s a steady way to live and keep the space going for whoever needs it.
