Bangalore Software Service

Bangalore Software Service is located over on the 2nd floor of the Roopa Tarase building. If you know the 8th Main area, you know how the parking can be. We have a small space here where we handle a lot of the technical stuff that businesses need help with. It’s not a huge glass tower. It’s just us and our screens. We spend most of our time fixing bugs or trying to get someone’s system to actually talk to another one. It gets pretty quiet when everyone is focused. Sometimes we grab coffee from the place downstairs. We’ve been at 141 B for a good bit now. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, but you get used to it. We don't really do the big corporate meetings. We just get the work done and send it off. There are a few of us here who have been working together for years. We know how each other thinks, which makes the long days easier. Most of what we do involves looking at lines of code until they make sense. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps the lights on. If the internet goes down, we all just kind of sit there looking at each other until it comes back. That's just how it goes in this part of town. We’re just local people doing tech work and trying to keep things simple for everyone who comes to us.
