Bangalore Metropolitan Manpower Agency is based over in Indira Nagar at number 445. If you know Indira Nagar, you know it’s one of those places that’s always changing, with new shops and cafes popping up all the time. But we’ve stayed in our spot for a good while, helping people find work and helping businesses find staff. It’s a busy office. There are always people coming in with their resumes or calling to ask about job openings. We handle a lot of different kinds of roles, from office work to more manual jobs. It’s not a glamorous business, but it is necessary. Our office at 445 isn't very big, so it can get a bit crowded when a lot of people show up at once. We don't use any complicated systems, just a lot of lists and folders and talking to people face to face. It’s a lot of work trying to match the right person with the right job. Sometimes it doesn't work out, and we have to try again. That’s just the nature of the manpower business. We’ve been part of the Indira Nagar community for long enough that people know where to find us. We don't do much advertising; mostly it's just word of mouth from someone who got a job through us. We just keep our heads down and try to get the placements done every day. It’s a simple operation really. We are usually here until six.
