Ashok Shetty

We go by the name Ashok Shetty, and you can find us at number 24 in the area that sits between Basavanagudi and Shivaji Nagar. It’s a bit of a stretch across those parts of the city, but that is where we decided to set up our shop. Our place isn’t something you would ever see in a fancy magazine. It is a very simple room with a couple of desks and a lot of work that needs to be finished. We have been around this part of Bangalore for quite a while now. It is a neighborhood that has a lot of its own character and history. We don’t use big corporate slogans or try to make ourselves sound more important than we actually are. We just take care of things as they come to us. The traffic around Shivaji Nagar can be a real nightmare some days, but we have grown used to it over the years. We open up our doors when the day starts and we keep going until all the work is done. It is just the way Ashok Shetty runs things here. We don’t have a bunch of fancy titles or roles for ourselves. We are just a team of people working together in one room. Sometimes people stop by just for a chat even when they don’t have any business, and we actually like that. It helps the day go by faster. We have seen Bangalore change, but our corner at 24 stays the same.
