Arvind Raghavan

My name is Arvind Raghavan and I work out of 27 C G Road in the Vyalikaval neighborhood. It’s a pretty established part of the city, and I’ve been here long enough to see the trees grow taller and the traffic get much heavier. My office isn't anything to write home about, just a functional space where I can focus. I have a few shelves of books and some old files that I haven't quite gotten around to digitizing yet. I think there’s something nice about having actual paper to look at sometimes. Most of my day is spent on my own, but I do have regular visitors who stop by for business. We usually sit around the small table I have in the corner. I try to keep things relaxed. There’s no need for formal attire or stiff conversation. I prefer to get straight to the point and see how we can solve whatever issue is on the table. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main hubs, which I appreciate. There is a small park nearby where I go for a stroll when I need to clear my head. It’s a simple life and a simple way of working. I don’t plan on moving anytime soon since everything I need is right here. Being part of Vyalikaval feels right to me. It’s a corner of the city that still has a bit of old-school character left in it, even as things modernize.
