Arch Venture

We are located over on Nagdevi Street at number 3, right in the Sanjay Nagar area. It’s a busy part of town, which usually means there's plenty of activity right outside our door. Most of what we do involves architectural work and planning out different ventures. We have a couple of large tables for laying out blueprints, and they’re almost always covered in sketches and rolls of tracing paper. It’s a bit of a messy workspace, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time going back and forth between the office and various sites to see how things are progressing. It’s not just sitting at a computer; there’s a lot of measuring and checking things in person. The building we’re in is older, so it has a bit of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb. We get all sorts of clients, some who know exactly what they want and others who are just starting out with a vague idea. We don't really do the whole high-end designer pitch. We just look at the space available and try to figure out a practical way to use it. Sometimes we’re here late finishing up a drawing before a deadline. It’s just the two or three of us working through the projects one by one. The neighborhood is full of hardware shops, which is actually pretty handy for what we do. It’s a good spot for an architecture firm to be.
