Aon

We spend most of our days here at Aon in Kundanhalli. Bangalore is a busy place but this part of town has its own pace. The address is 560037 and we’ve been here for a while now. Some of us take the bus and others ride bikes, but getting through the Karnataka traffic is always the first task of the morning. Once we get inside the office, things settle down. There’s a tea stall not too far from the building where we usually go around eleven to stretch our legs. It isn’t a fancy place but it gets the job done and the desks are mostly full of papers and computers. We don't have a big cafeteria or anything, so lunch is usually brought from home or ordered from one of the small shops around the corner. The building is easy enough to find if you know the area, though visitors sometimes miss the turn. It feels like a regular workspace where people just show up and do what they need to do before heading home in the evening. Most of the staff knows the security guards by name and we wave when we walk in. It’s just how it is here. Nothing too special, just the team doing their thing in this corner of India. Sometimes the power goes out for a minute but the backup kicks in and we just keep on typing away until the day ends.
