All India Urdu Manch

We are located over in Khetwadi, right near Frazer Town. It’s a lively area with a lot of history and culture. Our space is dedicated to the Urdu Manch, and it feels more like a community center than a cold office. We have books everywhere—shelves full of them, some quite old. People come in to talk about literature or just to see what’s new. It’s a humble setup with a few tables and chairs where we sit and discuss things. We don't have a lot of modern gadgets, just the basics to keep things running. The atmosphere is usually quite warm. You might hear someone reciting a poem in the corner or just the sound of a boiling kettle. We handle the day-to-day tasks like organizing gatherings and keeping track of our library. The building itself is modest. Khetwadi can be a busy place, but our little corner stays focused on the language and the work we do. We don’t use any fancy business talk here. We just care about the work and the people who visit us. It’s a place built on many years of effort by folks who just wanted a spot to gather. If you’re ever in Frazer Town, you’ll find us there. It’s not a big operation, just a small, dedicated group of people in a simple room, doing what we’ve always done. We often stay late just talking and the snacks from the local shop are always on the table for anyone who stops by.
