We are tucked away in HRBR Layout, over in the 3rd Block. Specifically, you can find us at 302, 4th B Cross. It’s a busy part of Bangalore, but our street is usually okay. Br Balachandran is the one who keeps things running here. We deal with urban systems, which basically means we look at how things in a city should work and try to make sense of it. It’s a lot of data and planning, not really the kind of stuff you see on billboards. The office is just a regular floor in the building. We’ve been in this 560043 zip code area for quite some time now. Some of us take the bus, others drive through the Bangalore traffic, which we all know is a bit of a nightmare. Our work is pretty technical, but we try to explain it in a way that doesn't make people's heads spin. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you’ll just find a few of us hunched over maps or computers. It’s a quiet environment because we need to concentrate. We like being in HRBR because it’s a good mix of houses and offices. If we’re not at our desks, we’re probably out on a site visit somewhere in Karnataka. That’s just the nature of the work we do. It’s a bit of a grind, but we like the pace.
