Akash Enterprises

You can find us at shop number 36 inside the K R Market Complex over in Banashankari 3rd Stage. Being in a market complex means it’s never really quiet around here. There is always someone shouting or moving crates nearby. Akash Enterprises is basically a small operation. We have been in this spot for years and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We mostly deal with local supplies and whatever the neighborhood needs. The space is pretty packed with stock, so you have to watch your step when you come inside. It’s a bit dusty because of all the movement in the market, but that’s just part of being here. We open early, usually before the sun is fully up, because that’s when the market starts moving. It is a lot of physical work, loading and unloading stuff. We don’t have a fancy website or a big sign. People just know where we are. Sometimes the power goes out in the complex and we just use flashlights to keep going. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep the books. My cousin helps out most afternoons when it gets really crowded. It’s a simple business. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just provide what people ask for and try to keep our prices fair for the locals. It’s a long day, but we are used to it and wouldn't really know what else to do with our time.
