Airtron

Airtron is over here in Bangalore, specifically in the 560026 area. It’s one of those spots that’s easy to miss if you are not looking for it. The city has changed so much lately with all the new buildings, but our corner feels more or less the same as it did years ago. We handle a lot of technical stuff, mostly related to air systems and small mechanics. It’s a busy environment because something is always breaking down somewhere in this city. The office is a bit crowded with cardboard boxes and old parts that we haven't quite gotten around to throwing away yet. There is a metal desk in the back that wobbles if you lean on it too hard. We don't really do the whole suit-and-tie thing here; it’s more about getting the job done and moving on to the next task. The traffic on the way in is usually a total nightmare, so we are often a bit late opening the door, but the regulars don't seem to mind much. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different sites across Karnataka. When we are actually in the shop, it’s mostly paperwork and drinking tea from the small stall around the corner. It is a practical way to live. There isn't any polished marketing going on here, just a few of us who know our way around machines and try to keep things running.
