Our place is on the second floor of Shanthi Nilayam, right there on Bhoopasandra Main Road. We’re in the UAS Layout area, specifically at the 1st Cross. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s a good spot once you get inside. We handle a lot of the recruitment and staffing needs for this side of Bangalore from this office. It’s mostly just us and our computers, surrounded by stacks of files and various notebooks. Sanjaynagar is a nice area, and we like being situated here rather than in the middle of the heavy city traffic. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to different companies and people looking for work. Sometimes it feels like we’re just pushing paper, but we know it matters to the people waiting on an answer. We don’t have any fancy decorations or a big reception desk. It’s a working office through and through. The 2nd floor gives us a little bit of a view of the street, which is nice when things get stressful and we need a minute. We’ve got a small team here and we all pretty much know each other’s business. We just keep at it, day in and day out, trying to make sure the records are right and the people get where they’re supposed to go. It’s a steady kind of life here in Shanthi Nilayam, and we’re just part of the furniture now, really.
