Our Accenture office is located on the 2nd Floor of Dono H86, on the 7th Cross of Market Road in Lnpuram. This part of Bangalore 560021 is one of the older neighborhoods. The streets are narrow and usually filled with people, carts, and vehicles. Being right on Market Road means there is a lot of noise and energy outside all day long. Once you get up to our space on the 2nd floor, it is a bit quieter. The stairs are quite steep, which is something we’ve all had to get used to. The office itself is a bit old-fashioned, with high ceilings and tall windows. These windows let in a lot of light, but also a lot of dust from the market, so we are always cleaning. We have a few large desks where we all sit together to work. It is not a modern or shiny place, but it has a lot of character. We know the guy who runs the tea stall downstairs very well, and his ginger tea is a daily necessity for most of us. Working in the middle of a market area means you are always in the center of the action. It can be a bit loud, but it keeps things interesting. We don’t have any fancy signs or logos on the door. It’s just a plain entrance at H86. We come in, do our work, and head home through the busy streets. It’s a real, working-class environment.
