Accenture

Basavanagudi is where we work for Accenture. We are at No 47 on Dr DVG Road. This is one of the oldest parts of Bangalore. You can find very good food just a short walk away. DVG Road is always packed with people shopping for vegetables or clothes. Our building is right in the middle of it. We are on the first floor. The stairs are a bit steep. Inside, we have a large room where we all sit. The ceiling is high, which is nice. We have some old wooden cupboards for our files. They have a specific smell to them. We do our work on laptops mostly. The internet connection is usually reliable here. We hear the bells from the temple nearby in the mornings and evenings. It’s a very traditional neighborhood. We have a small area for making coffee. We use a lot of milk. The windows look out onto the street. We can see the crowds moving below us. It’s a bit distracting but also interesting. We don't have any expensive art on the walls. Just some maps and a calendar. Our team is small and we’ve been together for a long time. We just get on with our tasks. Sometimes we go out for a quick snack at one of the local spots. It’s a very comfortable place to spend the day. We don't feel the need for anything more than this.
