Accenture Procurement Services

Our office is at 52 3Rd Main in Mico Layout, which is part of Vijaynagar 2Nd Stage here in Bangalore. It’s a decent area, mostly quiet except for the usual neighborhood sounds. Accenture Procurement Services is what we call ourselves, but mostly we’re just a team that manages buying and supplies for other businesses. It’s a lot of coordination and keeping track of things. The office isn't very big, and we share the space with a lot of files and boxes. We have a small pantry where the kettle is always running. People come in, do their shifts, and head home. We don't have any fancy mission statements hanging on the walls. Mostly it’s just calendars and to-do lists pinned up everywhere. The stairs are a bit steep, so we all get a bit of a workout every day. Sometimes the water delivery is late, and we have to remind them to come by. It’s these small things that make the day interesting. We aren't some high-flying corporate group; we’re just regular employees making sure the procurement side of things doesn't fall apart. It’s steady work and we’ve got a good rhythm going. Most of us have lived in Bangalore for years, so we know the local spots for a good lunch. We just do our jobs, help our clients, and try to keep things organized in our own way without any unnecessary drama or corporate polished talk.
