Aantharya Counseling Center

Finding us out here in Yarandanahalli Village takes a bit of time if you aren't used to the roads. We are located right off the Bellandur Jigani Link Road. It’s a bit quieter than being in the middle of the city, which helps when people are coming here to talk. The center is basically a few rooms with comfortable chairs and some plants that I try my best to keep alive. Usually, the sessions go one after another, and I spend the breaks making sure there’s water in the dispenser. We don't have a big reception staff or a shiny lobby. It’s just a place where people sit and chat about what’s on their mind. Sometimes you can hear the birds outside or the occasional truck passing on the link road. I’ve noticed that people feel a bit better just being away from the traffic for an hour. We kept the walls a plain color so it isn't distracting. It’s not a hospital and it doesn't feel like an office either. It’s just Aantharya. We’ve been here since the village started getting more busy with new buildings. I like the walk from the main road in the morning. Everything is pretty straightforward here. We keep our notes in folders and try to stay organized, even when things get busy. I usually bring my own lunch and eat it on the small porch when the weather is nice. We don't have a big sign.
