Aansue Interior

If you go looking for Aansue Interior, you’ll find us over at Yeshwantpur 37. It’s a busy part of town, and our space is usually filled with the sound of saws or the smell of wood glue and fresh paint. We aren't the type of designers who sit in fancy showrooms with expensive coffee. We are usually on the floor measuring out plywood or looking at fabric swatches under a dusty lightbulb. Our office is a bit of a jumble with catalogues everywhere and samples of tiles leaning against the walls. We spend half our time here and the other half traveling to different sites to see how the carpenters are doing. It’s a lot of back and forth, making sure things actually fit where they are supposed to. People in Yeshwantpur know us as the folks who are always carrying rolls of paper or dragging a measuring tape around. We’ve had a few long nights when a project was due and we were still trying to get the hinges right on a cabinet. It’s a practical job. We listen to what people want for their homes and then we try to make it work with whatever budget and space they have. Sometimes it’s frustrating when materials don't arrive on time, but that’s just how it goes. We’ve been at this for a while, and our hands are usually covered in something, whether it’s ink or sawdust.
