A Shankar And Company

We are located at Kumara Park 19. It’s a well-known area, but our office itself is quite tucked away. When you walk into number 19, you aren’t met with a bunch of logos or a glass wall. It’s a more traditional setup. A Shankar and the rest of the team spend most of the day here. The building has that solid, older feel to it, which we actually like. It’s not like those new offices that all look the same. There are trees outside that give a bit of shade, which is nice when it gets hot. Inside, the desks are piled with files because we still deal with a lot of physical paperwork. We don't use much fancy software for the sake of it; we just use what works. The floor is a bit creaky in places, but you get used to it. We have a small corner for making tea and coffee, and that’s usually the busiest spot in the morning. It’s a local business through and through. We know the people around here and they know us. There’s no need for anything polished or fake. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and that’s about it. It’s been this way for a long time at Kumara Park. We like the pace here and the way the light comes through the old windows in the late afternoon.
